Bug Report OBSMac-0.4.2 Crashing upon opening.

I have a theory I do not have the right OSX version (I am running Version 10.7.5 of Mac OSX with a memory of 8GB 1333 MHz DDR3) If this is the case, is there an archives for my version of OSX? Thank you if you have the time to reply with an answer!

You have to have OS X 10.8 or higher to run OBS for Mac.

We'll fix this so that it will report an OSX version error instead of crashing like this. It currently requires 10.8.5 minimum at the moment

I'm on an old Mac Pro with an 8800 GT card, which I saw could pose a problem in the known issues post. Running 10.9.4. Do you think it's a GPU problem, or some conflict in plug-ins I have (not even sure if that could cause it.)

That one is a crash related to older systems with really old nvidia adapters. The 8800 series of nvidia were released in 2006. That's an 8 year old video adapter spec.

Still though, I kind of wish I could buy that computer off of you just so I could see what on earth causes that function to crash like that. It just completely bewilders me at the moment, but I suspect it's simply due to the fact that the adapters that have this crash are so old, and that we're using newer OpenGL features that it may not have available.

I had a crash at opening it for the first time. There was a pause and then the app closed.
currently I am running an iMac early 2009 model, running OS 10.9.4 with 4 GB of memory and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 256MB
