Question / Help "obs_module_load" not found error

Greetings,

I tried to record using OBS today, but I received an error message. When I checked my log, I'm told the required "obs_module_load" was not found under obs-plugins. I checked my Program Files, and sure enough there is no "obs_module_load" under my 64-bit plugins.

My log also says 'enc-amf.dll' module did not initialize, and no VLC installation was found.

I reinstalled OBS over my previous version, but it didn't fix the problem. Where can I find the missing module?

The 940mx doesn't actually support nvenc as an encoder. Change your encoder in settings - output to something else.

The "errors" you've been fixating on are not actual errors.
 
I've changed the encoder to Software x264 and Hardware QSV, but neither makes it work. Whether I use nvenc or not, I get the same failure.

My computer is rather unstable ever since some files were modified a few months ago. It's possible my system is not even capable of running software like OBS, though I'd like to try solutions before I give up.
 
I notice on line 49, the log says "[AMF] AMF Test failed due to one or more errors."

Then on line 50, it says "Failed to initialize module 'enc-amf.dll' "

Might this failure be my error?
