Guys please help me I tried going live on Youtube using OBS but every time I try to go online it keeps poping an error that says rtmp/youtube.com/live2 is offline could not connect to server. I tried changing my stream key but it still doesn't work. I can go live on Twitch fine without any problem so I don't know why youtube is not working. My OBS is allowed to pass through the windows firewall and my only antivirus is a Comodo firewall which I tried turning off but still doesn't work. Here's my log file if it helps.

That's a log file from OBS Classic, which is no longer supported. Please update to OBS Studio. A tool for converting OBS Classic scenes to OBS Studio is available here.

It seems that something is blocking RTMP connections to YouTube. I'd guess either COMODO or something else on your network is blocking the connection. You can try adding an exception for OBS into COMODO, or you can try disabling COMODO to test if that lets OBS stream to YouTube.

I tried disabling all the components of my comodo firewall still doesn't work. I don't know what to do. My obs is being allowed by my windows firewall.

Have you tried streaming to their backup ingest server? Have you tried streaming to a different service to test if you can connect to those?

same error pops out. could not connect to server. I can stream using the new youtube camera live but that just records my webcam and not obs and Twitch works fine as well. I'm really clueless right now. According to my comodo firewall my obs programs are under trusted so I'm guessing its not blocking it. Unless I'm missing something that I don't know. :(

I'm not sure if YouTube's Live Streaming Camera feature uses RTMP from the browser or something else. I can successfully stream to YouTube here. You said you're not techie, so I'm not sure I can ask you to do network/ping diagnostics.

As a test, consider uninstalling COMODO completely, then restarting your PC, and trying again. The Windows 10 built-in firewall will cover you fine in most cases. If you can't stream to YouTube after uninstalling COMODO and restarting your PC, you can reinstall it if you prefer having it.

Is this your home network or someone else's network (school, public place, etc.)? You could get in touch with the ISP and ask if they permit outgoing RTMP traffic to YouTube.

Home network. I know a little bit of isp and refreshing it with command prompt. I dont know how to mess with my router. Do you have any other ideas before I uninstall comodo? Does twitch use rtmp? Because twitch works fine.
