Question / Help OBS won't work

So I been trying to use this whole broadcasting software and reading all the FAQS and how to set it up properly.
I can't seem to make it work although it says make a scene and then just make a source. Fine I do that and check preview still the black screen

I try desktop capture and still nothing, I have the latest windows update and DirectX 11

I got good net and good pc but I don't know how to make it work.

Help would be much appreciated.

You need to add a source to your scene. Right click the Sources panel and click Add.
