Bug Report OBS Won't stay in Admin mode.

Hi,

As the subject states. my obs just won't stay in admin mode.. i have been streaming DayZ yesterday for about 4-5hours without any issues what so ever, i tried to start obs today and it just wouldn't connect and keep nagging me about requiring Admin rights to be able to pick up arma 2 ao.

i have tried all possible means to stat it in admin mode, but none of them keep the program in admin. when i logout of windows and log back in again it would work for about 1minute max. and then it would just go back to derp mode and stop working.

Any one have any information regarding how to fix this? please do tell me.

Kind regards,

Senith

Go to the OBS.exe file at C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS (unless you specified it to a different directory then find it there) and right-click OBS.exe (if using 64-bit version then go to 64-bit OBS.exe file) then click on "Run as administrator" and it should run as administrator forever.

Okay, try right-clicking the OBS.exe file then click on Properties. Click the Compatibility tab then check "Run this program as an administrator." If this doesn't work and you're running a shortcut then this same method should work as well.

You need to disable the anticheat software Arma 2 uses, it blocks other programs like OBS.

For me it is only DayZ Breaking Point I have the admin issue with OBS with. I can do regular DayZ, DayZ Origins, Arma II Wasteland , etc. Which are all using battle eye. Those all work fine with OBS.

Yeah.. it has nothing to do with battle eye since you can run all the mods, including breaking point, if you enable them and launch them directly through arma 2, which still uses battle eye.. So it's definitely an OBS problem..
