Question / Help OBS Won't record audio AT ALL. Help!

So I recently started streaming on YouTube and after a couple of episodes with crappy audio I decided that I should probably use a more professional program (I was using a demo version of Wirecast). After downloading OBS I ran a test to make sure everything was set up properly before I streamed by just wandering around punching and placing blocks in Minecraft and talking into my Laptop's mic for about a minute. When I went to view the video however there was no audio. So twice I changed my settings and tried again meeting with the same result. Could someone help me please, this has left me quite baffled.

Post a log file from the Help menu. Upload, then paste the link it gives you here. We need it to see what's happening with OBS on the back end.

If you're watching the videos in Windows Media Player, don't. It has poor codec support. Go download VLC instead, it's a VASTLY better video player on all fronts.

Thank's for the tip! I didn't know that WMP had poor codec support honestly, I guess my test videos DID have audio I just wasn't hearing it because of that. Thanks again!
