OBS won't recognize AJA LHe+ analog input source

For some reason, OBS will not recognize the analog input stream for my AJA LHe Plus capture card. In setup it only shows SDI inputs to configure.
The card is recognized in AJA's Control Panel software for both analog S-Video and composite video streams as 525i 29.97 stream. AJA's Control Center software also recognizes both analog inputs and allows recording of VHS tapes (unfortunately only in MOV format). I'm using AJA's latest 16.2.2 software along with their DirectShow driver; OBS is latest release; WIndows 10 Pro with plenty of memory and processing power.
When I open OBS with AJA's Control Panel open, the Control Panel immediately drops the analog S-Video (or composite) connection and, while OBS recognizes the capture card, it only shows SDI 1, SDI 2 or SDI 1&2 as options in configuration.
My only application here is to capture VHS tapes using a Panasonic AG-1970 VCR with an AVT-8710 TBC.
AJA has a "companion" manual for setting up OBS with AJA cards and lists the LHe+ card as compatible for both analog video and analog audio (attachment).
Has anyone used AJA capture cards for VHS capture successfully and can provide some input.
AJA support just suggested I just use their Control Center software (although I have to admit they've been very responsive to this point).
Thanks

Unfortunately, this card is not compatible with OBS (per AJA techs who have been very helpful with a number of issues). They were able to help me configure the Control Panel and Control Room software to capture very high quality VHS tapes.
