Bug Report OBS wont open

so when I try to open OBS it says woops, OBS crashed I had the latest version it still said it. I have windows 10 and currently I have an old version of OBS

I actually just fixed my problem and reinstalled the last version that is working thanks!

Your crash is coming from the AMF encoder. Make sure your AMD GPU drivers are fully up to date.

ok so I just updated my gpu and I now have the latest version of OBS but it still wont open

well that's the thing I hade windows look for the latest driver but it said that it was the latest driver and I even looked on their site for latest drivers as well and even there it said that this was the latest model

like I said I looked at the site my self had windows look it up for me and I even downloaded there app

You will need to remove the AMF encoder, your GPU is too old to support the latest drivers which are required.

C:\Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\obs-plugins\32bit\enc-amf.dll
C:\Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit\enc-amf.dll

Delete those files.
