Question / Help OBS won't open on windows 10

Icon shows up but window preview is a black white box, tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing

I am having the exact same problem..
and on top of that, now my older installation of obs no longer has any scenes. FML back to xSplit

here is the exception i get when closing the window that never really opened in the first place.

after an uninstall and full deletion then reinstalling, it works again, have to set up all my scenes again though

Then you probably had a corrupt settings profile.
