OBS won't open at all

I saw an update ready on OBS this morning, and just started it and finished without seeing any errors. (I didn't check which version it was)
Then, OBS stopped opening.

I have tried to clear %AppData%\obs-studio folder and restart the computer - did not fix the problem
I completely deleted the OBS Studio, restart computer, and reinstall OBS - did not fix the problem.

Funny thing is, when I attempt to run OBS, it creates all the folders in %AppData%\obs-studio, but I do not even see the OBS running in the Task Manager.

and of course, I have tried opening it as administrator - it does not fix the problem.

To add, I do not use any addons or plugins.

Nope,.. trying bunch of things like updating graphics driver and even Windows, but I don't see any progress

Hey!!! I just fix the problem on my side. I was able to roll back to the old version. Try reinstalling the version 26.0.2 https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/26.0.2

Oh lol I was about to post the same thing... its not a fix, but at least I can use the program until OBS actually fix the problem on 26.1 update....

Thanks for the advice!! Couldn't figure out how to fix this for the longest time and it was stressing me out. Very simple solution that completely didn't occur to me. Thank you!!

Did anyone ever figure out why this is happening? I still can't use the current version of OBS and have to use 26.0.2.
