Question / Help OBS WON'T OPEN ANYMORE :(

I don't think you did anything wrong, but since this crash is coming from Elgato drivers/software there's not much we can do. I've brought this thread to the attention of the Elgato reps. I will let you know what they say. You can try the 3PS drivers here as well, they might work better for you in the meantime:

thanks for all the help, but will these drivers work with a normal elgato hd?

also would i need to delete the elgato game capture program, or just the drivers?

The program should already have been removed when you tested the other drivers. If you didn't uninstall the entire Elgato program, you didn't follow the directions I gave you that told you to.

I did uninstall the elgato programs, so I'm like 99% sure what you said about this issue being on elgato'a side is correct, I'll try one more time, making sure I delete every program related to elgato tomorrow, just to make sure.

ok, so i only installed the drivers, but the elgato isn't showing up in the video capture device screen. will i need to install the main elgato program to make it appear?
