Hey guys, brand new Youtube creator here,

So apparently this is how Pewdiepie, KSI and most Youtubers record their videos in OBS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8w9x31FBUo (check from 2min 16 sec to around 3 min).
I did the same thing, set everything up just like in the video and this is what I get: an Error message that reads "Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details." Here is the log:

The same thing happens if I try to record with software (264x). My PC specs are: Intel i7 8700k, gtx 1080TI, etc, my PC is really decked out. Also I have another OBS profile where I use the same exact settings, execpt I dont record 2 feeds at the same time. I dont understand how can my OBS not recognize NVENC capable device when Im literally using NVENC encoding in the other profile? Here is a log from that aswell:

Any ideas? I want to get on with making videos and I have no clue what is causing this. Do you have any other way for me to capture 2 different video feeds so I can edit my cam and my screen or is this the only way? How can I get my OBS to work? I spent 1,5 hors online searching this and didn't find much so I decided to post here. Sorry for the long post!!!

*Update*

This issue has been fixed. For anyone suffering from the same issue, it was the resolution. I needed to record in 3840x1080 and downscale the sources to fit into it.

You did the right thing to lower the resolution. Nvenc supports resolutions up to 4096x4096.
