Bug Report OBS Won't Install

Whenever I try and open the installer, it says my system is missing directx components. When I say download now, it directs me to microsoft and I download it. I go through everything that the directx setup says, but when I go and try to download OBS again, it says the exact same thing. I start the directx setup again, and it says that it has determined that a newer or equivalent version of directx has been installed already. What am I supposed to do to to be able to download OBS? I really want to be able to use it instead of XSplit because it is so easy to use and has a lot less hassle.

btw, I had OBS working completely fine before, but I got a new OS so I could use all of my RAM, and it stopped working. I deleted windows old.

Now I'm getting this error that says OBS.exe - Bad Image
C:\Windows\syster32\d3dx10_43.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Exactly the same, or a different file? In any case your DX install seems damaged, you need to remove the files that are the incorrect architecture and re-run the setup.
