For the last six months, OBS has not been opening at all. The second I open it, a message says, "Woops, OBS has crashed!" and no matter what I do it just keeps appearing. I've restarted my computer, uninstalled OBS, removed the OBS files, and read every forum. I don't know if it is useful, but I downloaded and used StreamLabs and deleted it later. I think that is made by the same people who made OBS but I'm not sure. Someone please help because this is getting on my nerves. I can't record anything because the other recording software I can find is either really sketchy or subscription-based. I have also downloaded it through steam and it still won't work (I didn't think it would I'm just trying anything.) When I redownload OBS I've been getting this message- "Error opening file for writing: C:\Users\[my user]\Desktop\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit\libcef.dll Click retry to try again, or Cancel to stop the installation" and when I press retry it goes away and doesn't ever come up again? I don't know if this says anything about why OBS won't work but it happens basically every time I reinstall OBS. I'll try to provide a crash report but I don't know if it will go through because I've never done this before. I've also tried running it in safe mode but that does nothing.
