Question / Help OBS wont connect to twitch, connection timeout, twitch bandwidth test failed to connect aswell

Hi!

My problem is that OBS won't connect to twitch, i've gone through several guides and paths to correct this but with no results. I've disabled windows firewall, exited the antivireus program, rechecked the stream key, and so and so.
I've read several times that the servers my be bad for me or bad overall, so i tried others with no use again, and came across this twitch bandwidth test program on this forum. Tried it out and it said "failed" to all of the servers. The author of the program said it can't be normally.

So my thoughts: I think my network proxy blocks connections to the twitch servers. I'm living in a dormitory with it's own network system and with a huge proxy guarding the whole thing. So if we want to play any online game like wow, or steam games: We need to ask the admin to open the ports on our PC. I think the problem lies here.

So my big question is: On what port do you think OBS communicates with Twitch? What ports do i need to stream my games from here?
I really thank all of the answers and help in this matter.

Peter

Well, i asked that port from the admins, and it still says the same error (and the server tester program fails aswell). Can there be a problem with the whole proxy system defending our network here? Or the problem is with OBS and Twitch settings? Where do i fail here? Can some1 help me, plz? ( I can't try streaming at home, because i go home 2 times a year).

Thanks for all the help in advance.
