I'm trying to get into streaming on twitch but I'm having a few difficulties. I have my Hauppauge HD PVR set up an running on my computer already and I'm using the program called Hauppauge Capture. The HD PVR came with the disc to install TotalMedia Extreme, but I lost it. I tried to download it off the Internet but it seems I have a different version from the one you need to record (there's no record button on mine). I know this because I've watched video tutorials on YouTube and they all have the same but different setup than my program.
Anyway, what's the best way to use this program with OBS? Right now I have it set on Window Capture because it's the only thing I can get to show the window with my gameplay, however, there is no way to go fullscreen in Hauppauge Capture (as far as I know) so, when I stream, people will see the other displays on my screen such as all the different options. Also, if I stream this way, I would have to keep my screen on Hauppauge Capture which would inhibit me from using the twitch chat feature.
