Question / Help OBS with Avermedia LGP = Black screen

I've recently got an Avermedia LGP capture card, and I wanted to use OBS for streaming, but all I get is a black screen.
I read pretty much about it on the internet, and I tried almost everything but nothing helps. I have Windows 10 btw. I'm always running a 32x bit OBS, I'm always shutting down Google Chrome when I'm trying to get it to work. I tried to run both programs (Avermedia stream engine and OBS) in Windows 7 compatibility mode. I've changed the resolution on my computer to 1280x720. No idea why, hoped it will help.

So... no idea why do I get it, and what's the problem, hope somebody can help me.

And yes, i'm on a laptop but it worked before (before I got Avermedia)

Have you tried with the stream engine software loaded?

Yeah, I guess. I did it before on my other PC and it was alright, but now it won't work.

Does the card give a feed when you load the avermedia software?

I think so... if you mean that Avermedia is being detected then yes. Everything seems to be ok and it should work... but well... it doesn't. I saw some videos on YouTube etc. and everything looks ok.

So you haven't tried using avermedia's software to make sure the card is working?
