Question / Help OBS Window Capture Frozen On Some Applications

Using windowed capture on browsers, or some other applications while Aero is enabled causes it to just display a still image and never update or actually capture what is inside of the region.

In my situation Aero needs to be enabled to use windowed capture on about 5 other applications that work perfectly fine (Foobar2000 as an example works just fine).

Basically need this feature to work to properly run the notification software I use, while CLR Browser does work but is not supported with the application I use, and those that do support the application do not provide the service I need.

Anyone else run into this issue as well? Or anyone have insight on how to fix it. Because I've been dealing with trying to bypass this for about a week now, for hours a day, no kidding.

Also adding input, that when SLI is enabled this works fine. Although my current monitor setup does not allow for SLI.

I noticed something interesting with this problem. I was having the same issue, and currently have set a sub region of my window capture. It seems that if I move the application (that I am window capturing) in a manner that causes the captured sub region to "straddle" my second montior the content freezes. This also occurs if I move the subregion near the border of my monitor. I brought the application away from the border and the side where my monitor connects to the second monitor and now it is having no issues. Weird.
