Question / Help OBS Will not open.

The latest OBS Update will refuse to start and gives an unidentified video error. Is there a way to fix this? Or can i find a way to get a copy of the previous version?

Try deleting or temporarily removing your user settings (scenes profiles)

C:\Users\C-Dude\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio\basic (Obviously replace C-Dude with your user)

Move that folder elsewhere temporarily and see if it will open.

If it does one of your scenes or profiles has an issue. If you figure out which one you can just delete that one without having to remove all of your scenes/profiles. Of course if you don't care about saving your profiles/scenes you can just delete them.
