Lately, randomly for the past few weeks whenever it decides to not work, OBS has been crashing every single time I stop "preview stream" while I have both my webcam and game previewed at the same time. Reinstalling has always fixed this issue.
However, not only is this an issue again, but OBS will not detect both at the same time. Everything works fine if I only preview one or the other, and there's no crashing. But when I do both, it will always only detect my webcam over my game even though the red box during "edit scene" shows up for the game. I have tried unticking the box for the webcam beforehand so the game shows up and ticking the box to display the webcam in the middle of the preview. That doesn't work and I again just get the red-outlined box during the scene edit, so it at least recognizes that I have multiple sources. I have reinstalled at least six times and I'm still getting the same results.
No setting is different from before, I'm not on a different computer, and the crappy capture card and webcam both work fine. It will only crash if both sources are set to be detected. Is there a workaround? Has anyone else experienced the same problem?
Thank you for your time!
Edit: I thought I should maybe post my specs.
Windows 7 Professional, 32 bit
Intel Core i7-2620M processor @ 2.70 GHz
Intel HD graphics 3000
4096 GB RAM
No, definitely not my gaming computer. This is just temporary while my PSU is out on my gaming rig and the seller I bought my new one from gets off his ass and ships it.
