so I make funny moment compilation videos on youtube of a youtuber and I was getting footage for a new compilation while on 60fps and it was running just fine and smooth then suddenly I would try to record a section of a video and it would come out laggy as hell. I had to change to 20fps just to make it not lag, even though 20fps is god awful for quality videos. Any reason as of why this happened?
OBS was running 60fps fine but now barely runs 20fps

We cannot assist with pirating content off of YouTube.
Recommend getting the original recording from the Youtuber in question if you are authorized to use their content. Alternately, there are countless 'youtube video downloader' applications and websites out there that would give you much better-quality video anyway. OBS is not meant for this purpose.
