Bug Report OBS - VLC - Recording Issue

I've found an issue with VLC running though NDI and then outputting to OBS

(((ONLY WHILE RECORDING)))

Get a playlist of 2 or more videos, play them using VLCs video output: Newtek NDI video output
Open up OBS and run an NDI™Source

Plays fine right?

Now.... hit record...
wait for it...

It stops... The playlist for some reason gets wrecked when trying to play but only when recording on OBS. I've tested this on two systems so far. Need some help. Anyone else replicate this?

If you are suffering from this, as its a little niche. the way around it is to use the recording buffer instead. that seems to solve the issue.
