OBS Virtualcam - This plugin provides a DirectShow Output as a virtual webcam.

Fixed the build with the latest OBS plugin template and tested about 2 days without any issue.

This plugin won't accpet any feature update, just for legacy support for my usage.

Note: output to 32bit application is not tested.

How to use:
OBS Virtualcam has two main methods for outputting video from OBS. The first is the Preview output, which is enabled from the Tools menu. This output will provide...

I have a question about this excellent plugin's usage. When I installed it, as asked for 4 virtual cams. But only one of them can be active at a time. Is it possible to start 2 of them so they are running simultaneously? I actually want three virtual cams, one of which is OBS' built-in virtual cam. So, I'd like two active virtual cams from this plugin.

Thanks in advance for all suggestions!

Hello, sorry, is it possible in any way shape or form to put an Auto-Start to the filter setting "Start"? this is the best plugin I found to multi-instance OBS, since is waaaay less CPU consuming than the actual OBS virtual-cam, but I would love to have the feature of an Auto-Start for automatizing opening OBS, changing collections and such trough commands or SteamDeck or some thing of the sort, without the need to go manually and start the filter, it would be much appreciated if possible! Thanks!

Trying to find something with both Video and Audio output that Discord can work with... the built-in Virtual Cam only seem to send video data and no audio.
And this plug-in seems to be detected by Zoom, but not Discord. Am I missing something? (and yes, I double-checked to make sure both audio and video source are in the scene, it's just a matter of an output that Discord can use)

Is this just the Video feed or do I just somehow miss any Audio settings?
I like to have my OBS into webmeetings and would like to use all soundsources, too. Like my filtered and EQ microphone, Videopresetations etc.
Unfortunatly, I can't find any OBS Camera reference in the Audio devices. Do I need to go virtual cable or something else, to get the Audio from OBS to Zoom and Teams etc?

I've noticed that the virtual cam has a slight green hue, it is very noticeable once you get a repeating image. Is there a way to fix this without doing color correction in OBS as I am using this outside of OBS and not as a source? I don't see any settings anywhere that I can tweak .

This is when using the virtual cam under the tools tab not when I use it as an effect.

Hello,

Thank you for this awesome add-on! I have a question regarding its use with my capture card's virtual camera, as my capture card can’t be used in multiple apps.

I am streaming to KICK and TIKTOK, and I discovered that your add-on can facilitate this. However, TikTok only recognizes your add-on as having 30 FPS, regardless of any changes I make.

You mentioned that the default is 1080p at 30 FPS if a third-party app is opened first, but for me, it consistently outputs at 30 FPS, even though I have selected 60 FPS in the video settings.

Can you please help me understand what I might be doing wrong, or is this a limitation of the TikTok streaming app

- OBS built in virutal camera im using for WEBCAM in TITOK shows as 60fps

Thank you very much!

Unfortunately I am not sue what could be causing this. If you open the "DroidCam Video" device with OBS, you will see all available options, including 60FPS. TIKTOK should recognize it as such, too. The droidcam video device will advertise all available options and external programs can select whichever settings they want. Derp: wrong thread

It looks like the newest update 31.0.2 fully broke this virtualcam plugin

Needing 2 virtual cams for portrait and landscape in tik tok streaming and it looks like it was disabled somehow.

Blocked TikTok Virtual Camera from loading in OBS due to known issues [notr1ch]
