OBS Virtual Camera not showing up as a device in Powerpoint

I am now trying to record a presentation in powerpoint (365 desktop version) and have my greenscreened virtual cam output setup in OBS and turned on. However, the OBS virtual cam is not showing up as one of the camera devices that I can choose when trying to record in powerpoint. Only my laptops integrated webcam device shows up (OBS doesn't appear in "Device Manager" under "Cameras").

Other 3rd party pseudo greenscreen feeds like ChromaCam and Xsplit Vcam do show up, so i don't understand why OBS doesn't. Really need this functionality because it's for a course and I need to be able to record in Powerpoint, not OBS. thanks for any suggestions/fixes.

I have the same issue for the same reason. It is indeed rather weird but I suspect it is a PowerPoint issue rather than an OBS one.

@Iburto, did you ever get this working? I am in the exact same boat as you. I need to record a lecture for class, but the OBS cam isn't showing up in PowerPoint.

I agree that this is important. Even Camo and mmhmm show up in PPT. Please let us know if you are planning to address this. Thank you! We LOVE OBS!
