OBS virtual camera displays poorly in Chrome after update

Since today's update, I the OBS virtual camera displays poorly in Google Meet. Black and white with lines and coloured glitches In Firefox it displays fine.

Any suggestions welcome.

Same error here.

Recorded video and streaming work fine too. It is only a problem in virtual camera on Chrome.

The error is present even in the screen that is shown when the virtual camera is off in OBS.

Edit: As a workaround downgrading to 27.1 works fine

It took a bit of searching to work out how to downgrade - I found this video which had what I needed.
