Question / Help OBS video stream glitch in the new update

Hi, I updated my OBS today to the latest build and now I am encountering a pretty bad issue.
I think the main reason is when I start OBS it tells me that there is a game capture plugin update, but when I try to download it, it fails to download.

When I try to stream this is the result.

If anyone knows how to fix it the problem, the help would be greatly appreciated :D

Are you still prompted to update any components like the Game Capture plugin upon launch after using the installer?

No after using it those promtps went away so maybe its something else.. weird thing was that was the same installer I used for the original installation. I may just have to revert to an older build to fix it.

What if you remove the Game Capture source and then re-add it to your scene? Does it happen with everything or only a particular game?

Yes I have tried a couple to times to remove and add the source on a couple of other gamesand it doesnt fix it, I have also tried just doing window capture and also just images that I added in and they all come out with the glitch. The preview screen in OBS is fine its just the actual stream on twitch which is bugged.

What if you make a local recording and play it back with a normal media player? Still garbled?

Open up %appdata%\OBS\shadercache (by selecting "Run..." from the start menu, or just pressing Windows+R on your keyboard) and delete the .blob files in the sub folders there (or simply rename the shadercache folder to something else, like shadercache_old) and see if that fixes it.

Thank you very much! this seems to have fixed the issue. I just tried my stream on a couple games and it appears to be working. Thanks again :)
