Question / Help OBS Video File Query

Hi, I was wondering if you could possibly help me.

I'm in the UK and looking to stream a video from my computer to facebook live.

I tried to capture the window, but all I get is a black screen. Same when I try to capture my desktop. I am wondering If I am doing something wrong?

I tried a media source, and I got a picture but no audio.

I am new to this so not sure what to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
