OBS Video Dropping Frames/Lagging While Recording

I work for a digital marketing company and I have been working with a man who does webinar type videos with OBS. For a while OBS worked fine but we created a split screen Scene for him to use and that seems to have killed it to where it now drops frames, won't record, etc. When I delete that scene it is still messed up

Do some basic real-time hardware resource monitoring, and see if you are overloaded the disk i/o subsystem

A number of possibilities
- from coincidence, that a Windows Update or similar changed system behavior, and system now overloaded
- the new Scene added extra video decode/encode and overloaded system
- even with Scene deleted, however you set up 2nd camera may be still causing load? just guessing depends on camera type, input connection type, OS & OBS device settings, etc.

Restart OBS and perform a test stream/recording of no less than 30 seconds doing as you normally do, including playing games, full camera or whatever you normally do.
