Question / Help obs uses too much memory?

since the last windows update my obs started using alot more memory than usually, its on about 1600mb while its running.
So here's the problem, i use a custom made intendo DS capture card and the software that came with it stops working when i have obs open...
i was wondering if anyone has a fix for this issue? or knows what im doing wrong?
 
If you have a image slideshow with many images, reduce the size and number of images - they are kept cached in RAM to minimize latency when an image changes to the next.
 
I have this issue on Mac and it's really pissing me off. I've removed video, so now all I have is a two cameras, 2 images, and 3 streamlabs widgets, and I'm sitting here watching the memory usage climb and it doesn't stop.
