OBS USBMIX4 Help Please

good day folks,
just setting things up from a DJ rig into a USBMIX4 and usb out into my PC using Windows 10
the desktop sees the USBMIX4 and OBS sees the USBMIX4 and its selected in the audio input but no signal is registering and the channel shows only 1 line
i can monitor audio from the USBMIX4 through headphones
audio from the desktop plays through and comes out two channels in OBS

curious if i am missing a step or need another piece of software to work with OBS

strange, they advertise it as a 2 channel stereo usb mixer

pioneer djm700 xlr to xlr usbmix4 to desktop windows 10 to obs

got it to work through the internal sound card with the desktop audio line
weird.
