I just formatted my PC and was setting up OBS when I noticed a strange CPU spike as soon as I added my capture card.
I use an Avermedia Extremecup U3 with 1080p and 59,94fps. As soon as it's added though the process "system interrupts" takes over the CPU and starts slowing the whole PC down to a crawl. It's only when I add the capture card though, my webcam works fine and OBS alone is fine as well. Screen capture works also without any problems. Only when I add the capture card everything suddenly dies. And it's really weird, because before I formatted my PC everything worked fine for years.
any ideas what happened?
