Question / Help OBS unstreamable

Okay so there has been a period of time when my stream was decent enough to stream 1080p with little to no lag, now I get instant disconnects/frame drops of up to 70%. It is downright ridiculous, 5 second after I start streaming the dropped frames number climbs higher and higher while the upload kbs jumps to my intended bitrate and then quickly drops to 0kb/s.

Before I finish let me answer the answers I expect to my problem.

-YES I tried to lower the bitrate, even down to 300kbs (used to be able to go up to 3500)
-YES I tried to change server, I live in east coast so I tried both VA servers and my native NY server
-YES I tried to reset the router (not internets fault anyways since games had no lag)
-YES I tried enabling CFR, no dice
-YES my machine is good enough to stream, but just in case I attatched the dxdiag (and log folder of course)

And lastly, I tried to use the kameha version (older build) and had same result. This is really confusing to me I hope for a diagnosis on this issue. I even tried free version of xsplit and while it did connect it stuttered a lot.

My upload is at roughly 5mb, down at 20mb

Please help, I'm not mad but frustrated. This issue caused my streaming schedule to come to a screeching halt. I hope someone here knows what's happening. -Thank you

Wow, thats s***load of dropped frames. Dropped frames are network issues afaik. Maybe there is something in your network configuration thats changed, ISP issues or something.

Your PC is more than enough to stream with settings u have in that log file. If u didnt changed any settings in OBS and the problems started, then its most likely NOT OBS issue. Its more likely to be network problem.

Did u installed any software lately? Networking related apps to be precise?

You can test your network up and download properly with http://testmy.net/upload
(dont forget to select a server near to you for testing)
Perhaps a faulty cable is at hand at your end or your isp has some issues?

But on an other note: You have 4 gb of internal memory. That seems a bit low for a windows 7 machine with gaming AND streaming. I do know you have say'd that it worked in the past but you might want to upgrade that to 8gb to avoid swapping on your harddrive.

And as general rule: what has changed when you encounterd this issue? (moved stuff around , installed new software/drivers or hardware tried different things?).

I would have to say -- click the link in my signature, follow those steps and see if it improves.

I have to note however that there is something really disturbing about that log of yours -- it is a lot of lagging and a lot of dropped frames. On hardware that should not be struggling as much as it is. I can recommend performing a boot time anti-virus scan and/or running something like Autoruns to see if there are some malicious processes taking up time and bandwidth. In other words, check for viruses.

The lagged frames are due to using Monitor Capture with Aero enabled in Windows 7, it's a well known problem, and there are only two solutions for it at the moment:

1) Don't use monitor capture.
2) Disable Aero and use monitor capture.

Monitor Capture is the slowest of all capture methods, and should be avoided unless it's absolutely necessary to use it.

Yea, best is to avoid monitor capture whenever possible. Window capture with Aero enabled gives best results afaik, so u should try that.

And as Kharay said, Autoruns is pretty good app to check your startup processes, maybe u have a rootkit or something else running in the background taking up cpu
