Question / Help OBS Unable To Connect With Twitch

Okay guys, first post.

I browsed through some topics via the search function based on similar issues I am having as of this morning and I've tried several suggested remedies to no avail.

OBS keeps giving me the error whenever I attempt to start streaming to my twitch account that either the stream key is invalid, or the server thinks I'm still connected. (Which server might this message be referring to?)

Games I Stream:

• iRacing
• Assetto Corsa

Steps taken so far:

• Shut-down and restarted my computer
• Ensured that proper stream key is inserted under settings>broadcast settings
• Reset my twitch stream key (several times now)
• Uninstalled/Reinstalled OBS

All of the above is what I have attempted so far to correct the problem. I was able to stream with no problem yesterday to another twitch account that I have. In OBS,

• I have deleted the old key,
• pressed apply,
• shutdown and restarted OBS,
• Opened settings>broadcast settings and noticed no stream key is there,
• Inserted new stream key and hit apply
• Shutdown and restarted OBS
• Go to settings>broadcast settings and see that stream key is showing (dots)
• Select Start Streaming and about 20 or so seconds later, the message reappears.

My system:

• Windows 7 Home Premium X64 SP1
• MSI R9 390 512 Bit 8G DDR5 GPU
• AMD FX-8350 Eight Core Processor @ 4.0GHz
• 16GB DDR3 2200 RAM
• ASUS 970 Pro Gaming Aura motherboard (Latest BioS are loaded)

I have tried this several times now. I am including a screenshot of the error message and a copy of the log file. Any help is very much appreciated.

Well, I'm not sure what to make of this, but if I go back to my original Twitch profile and use the stream key from that profile in OBS, I have no issues and can stream as I was doing so yesterday. I'm now wondering if this is a limitation on the twitch side that new profiles cannot stream immediately? Which would make no sense considering the product they offer. I'm stumped.

Aye I have the same problems as you do. I can stream just fine with my old account but whenever I refresh the stream key in OBS to my new account the same error message as you have comes up for me. It's so weird.. I've even deactivated my old account because I thought that would help. No idea how to fix it..
