Question / Help OBS UI Lagging/No Software Frames?

I recently downloaded a microphone compressor *VSTHost and VBCable (As well as an addon feature Reaplugins.), and ever since its been installed I think its interfering with OBS.

When I open OBS but I'm alt tabbed to another program, the UI for OBS isn't laggy and my mouse is able to go across the buttons without strange stuttering. But when I'm tabbed into OBS, theres a delay. Its like the program is about to freeze, but continues, but is about to freeze again but everything is clickable. It just becomes unresponsive. Heres a video for reference recording my desktop background. *When OBS UI lags, any recordings lag but streaming doesn't lag with it.*

Note: I say "Everything is smooth on my screen" While OBS is selected because the recording showed the lag as it was selected. My actual monitor showed no delay or cursor lag like OBS did.

Please share a log from OBS when you try recording.

Try removing/disabling the plugins and see if that fixes it first? ^^
Those types of plugins are fairly common, but still, it's an easy troubleshooting step.

Reaplugins is a plugin for VSTHost and VBCable, they shouldn't affect OBS cause VST and VB as far as I know don't mess with any OBS settings. Should I try anyway?

Tried disabling plugins related to VST and VB, and closed the whole program in general which basically turns off my mic since I'm running my mic through it. OBS still has the strange UI lag standalone.

Turned off gaming mode, but the OBS UI is still lagging. Forgot to mention the UI lag happens out of recording/streaming as well

I was able to measure out how many frames the OBS UI is running at... it says 20fps... Strangely all my other games are completely fine with 100+ FPS, but Stellaris (RTS game off steam) menu and game is also capped at 20fps. I have no idea what the hell I'm supposed to look up for this.

Do you have a new log from gaming mode being off?

Also, post a screenshot of the first tab of gpu-z

I think game mode was most likely the culprit. As soon as I restarted with game mode off everything is working correctly. I appreciate the help. (I also disabled my anti-virus that I dont use.)
