Hello there, I have a i7-8700 CPU and a GTX 1060 6gb GPU. I stream PUBG, CS GO, and Dota 2. While streaming PUBG my gpu runs at 90-100% and my cpu runs at 50-60%. I encode with my CPU at medium. I get around 120 fps in game (in-game play is great). I play at 1080p and stream at 720p/30fps with a 3000 bitrate. I have 5mbps upload/40mbps download internet speeds. My stream looks "ok" but it is clearly pixelated during streaming PUBG. I dont know which part of my setup is the issue. Please feel free to offer suggestions.

Do you have a link to an example video (with a timecode for where you notice the most pixelated moments) as well as a copy of your log file from that particular broadcast?

Feel free to post a log and an example clip, so we can check, if the pixelation is normal.
PUBG is eating bitrate for breakfast. It has many details, a lot of contrast combined with a lot of motion.
The difference between very fast and medium preset is nice to have, but PUBG will still be pixelated in many situations, when you use 720p 30fps with less than ~5000kbit/s.
I stream PUBG too and I also use 720p 30fps with x264 medium preset. As some of my viewers are having trouble watching >4000kbit/s streams, I use 3800kbit/s and I definitely see some pixelation as well.
Especially in the open field where the image is bright and you can see grass/trees etc.

This is not a bug, it is the way video encoding works and how different content has different needs for bitrate.

Great information. I will get this info sometime this week or weekend and show you.

DO you think if I upgrade my internet to 100download/50upload and raised my bitrate to 5000 I would most likely get rid of the pixelation?

By increasing the stream frame rate it will look even more pixelated (with the same bitrate).
I would stick to 720p/30fps, as long as you stay between 3000-5000kbit/s. With even more bitrate, 60fps will look fine.

I will continue with changing settings at 720/30. I feel like my pc can handle it but maybe its my upload or just some settings issues.
