obs turning off stream seconds after trying to go live

my obs updated today and now the no streaming reverts to start streaming before i can do anything, any ideas? not very good at maniulpating obs here

OBS Studio doesn't auto-update, unless you turned that on (I don't let anything auto-update, but that is just me)
if you updated from an older version, then you probably have a 3rd party OBS Studio plugin compatibility issue.
Even if you went from an older version 30.x to 30.1.2, you may still have an issue with a plugin.
I recommend following pinned post in this forum regarding posting your OBS Studio log when asking for help/support (better yet, submit to automated analyzer first... both linked in my .sig)

starting with OBS Studio v30 (or somewhere around there), there is now an option for a Safe Mode like experience of starting OBS Studio without plugins. You may need to look into that option.
If the crash is ONLY on streaming, then you may want to try Recoding for a short period of time (30 seconds), then posting that OBS Studio session log here

The other possibility is that you have older hardware that is no longer supported in latest release. Be sure to check release notes (most recent, as well as those between whatever version you were on and what you are on now)
I've read posts in this forum on older GPUs no longer being supported, with a possible work-around regarding replacing DLL from older version... which may or may not be relevant/work for you
