Question / Help OBS to Twitch - 0 kbps Bandwidth Usage - Never Been Able to Stream so Far

Good morning,

Both OBS & StreamLabs OBS present me with the same issue. When trying to stream, I have the game region captured & preview is working, but any time I try to stream, bandwidth usage remains at zero, from start to finish. I have left this running for up to 10 minutes, with my Twitch page remaining 'offline' after the briefest flash of a play triangle in the Twitch website window.
Log attached. am I missing a required .dll file? If so, what's a safe link to download from.

Discord streams without issue, to others on the same server. My Radeon card (5700 XT) will stream from it's built-in software, but it does not work well. I think it's AMD's implementation. Give me a 'network bandwidth may be insufficient' error, which I know is wrong.
OBS is connected to my twitch. Does a key/server combo work better?

I have a max theoretical upload of 20Mbps, with results consistently in the 16-17Mbps range. DL of 60+Mbps.

The log file ending in 43-00 is from this morning and much shorter/smaller.

It even counts all the correctly processed / dropped (9) frames.

Any help is appreciated.

Wow. I think that did the trick. Thank you.
Is my video card's hardware encoding not working a known issue in the streaming community?
Might have to look into CPU's to keep my frame rate up if I have to stick with software encoding.

(Saved from the earlier, deleted thread)
19:20:38.713: Output 'adv_stream': Total frames output: 0
19:20:38.713: Output 'adv_stream': Total drawn frames: 8748 (8751 attempted)
19:20:38.713: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 3 (0.0%)
It looks like for some reason, it's drawing the frames but not actually outputting them.
For testing purposes, could you try switching from the AMF encoder to x264 temporarily, and see if the stream comes up? AMF is pretty well-known for having... odd issues from time to time, due to AMD not really caring about it; one of the reasons nVidia cards are strongly advised for streaming machines.

Switching to the software x264 encoding got me online. Though the CPU usage hit playing a AAA game isn't cool.
That's... unfortunate for AMD cards. Would be nice if the hardware encoding on a $300+ video card... worked.
Streaming for me was an after thought when I got it, but, yikes.

Will change title to 'solved' if I can.
