Question / Help OBS taking ~10% of CPU on idle

Hello my fellow streamer-friends,

I just wondered if this is a normal behavior? When starting OBS Studio and look up my Task Manager it already uses about 10% of my CPU. Log attached.

It doesn't change when I start OBS studio as admin.

Yes, this is normal. The Elgato outputs encoded video, by having it on your scene it needs to be decoded, which takes CPU time.
