Instead of recording video,OBS instead takes a screenshot of the game,usually a black screen unless the preferences are edited,which gives a snapshot of after the preferences were edited.
This seems to happen to osu! in particular.I had to record the monitor and edit the rest out in post to record osu!
Not sure whether to post this here or at the osu! forums.
