Question / Help OBS Sucking up all my Bandwidth

I've been dealing with this issue for a while. I'm currently trying to cross off possible issues and trouble shoot.

When I live stream, after a short while, other devices get "knocked off" the internet (My XBOXlive, My Tablet/Laptop) while my OBS that is live streaming on my desktop works fine with NO frame drops.
Here's the weird part. If I had a browser open on the desktop's other monitor (to say, monitor my Chat room) that will also get Knocked off the internet as well (this is the same computer that is running OBS with no issues)

Is it my Modem? Is it my Computer? is it OBS bottling up and sucking up all the bandwidth?

FYI- I'm not an expert on the technical side of live stream.
I Have the Bell Fibe 25 Download/10 Upload. My streaming bitrate settings are very manageable (1280/720, @2000Kb/s-2500kb/s) My Bell Fibe 25/10 should be More than enough no??
thanks gang.

Could be an issue with your router or ISP, but the best thing to do would be to start with lowering your bit rate. You might also try enabling "minimize network impact" in broadcast settings to see if that helps at all.

thanks for the input Dodepong. I will try the minimize network impact setting. Don't you think I'm already cranking down the bitrate more than enough to what my internet speed is? (25 Down/10Up)

Upload bandwidth reported by speed tests can't really be compared to streaming bandwidth. They are two different beasts in terms of the way they work. But if all of your internet goes out from streaming, it sounds like a router problem, honestly.

router problem as in "go into the router settings and make adjustments" or "call my carrier and get a replacement" problem? If so, what should I tell them?

Try bypassing your router and hook up directly to the modem and see if your have the same problem.

I've tried that. Also, tried it with minimize network impact enabled and @ 2000kb/s as my bitrate. I was fine (i had green bitrate levels with a very brief blink of yellow most of the way) for a while, then my XBOX and browser got booted from the net again.

In an effort to cross things off the trouble shoot list... I upgraded my PC(i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50 GHZ/ 32 GB Ram) upgraded my internet (25Down/10Up) plus, spent time on the phone with my ISP explaining my issues. They switched my 'line' setting from Fast to Interleave to see if that would work. First try worked. Although, it's been a mixed bag of results after that.
Very puzzling and frustrating.
