Question / Help OBS stutters every couple of seconds but game is fine

So I've been browsing through the forums looking for an answer to this and I can't find one.

thats a really long list of various game captures :D. Try disabling webcam and other sources 1 by one to rule them out.

Kinda need the webcam and this problem is new it didn't used to do this.

well if nothing has changed and it worked before then idk. i had another issue with some games, and updating to recent gfx driver solved it. but it had nothing to do with stutter, and everything else worked fine "before", but cleaning driver and updating fixed the issue with launching some games. which seems like another issue entirely, but the point remains the same, everything worked fine for me, but out of the blue some games wouldnt launch, and it was at least in part a driver issue. I have been around the block before and can recall an issue where the webcam caused intermittent stutters. i'd try at least to disable it and see what happens.

This issue is caused by the Windows 10 April 2018 update (Version 1803 / Build 17134). You need to manually update to OBS Studio 21.1.2 by downloading the installer from this website (the auto-update will not work in OBS Studio 21.1.0). Then try again with that version. Post a new log here if you are still having problems.
