Im not sure what is causing this, i switched from H.264 to x264 since I was running at 95% utilization on the GPU. I am using the "stretch to screen" transform to downscale my recording (to save some fps in game).

It'd be helpful to see one log with the settings you want to use, or think you should be able to use, and to explain the problems in that. Depending on settings you change, the cause of stutter can be different.

Or you could start from running the Auto-Configuration Wizard from the Tools menu and see what it suggests.

You may not want to try targeting 60fps or greater on this GPU at all, though, especially if using x264 on your CPU at that rate means using a fast preset that lowers quality (the log shows ultrafast, you want to target veryfast if you can).

For recording use CRF rate control and a quality setting between 14 (very high) and 23 (good) and not a constant bitrate, that's for streaming.

You can also try simple output mode if you don't need multi-track audio and choose a mix of quality and file size that performs well on your hardware; these presets come with sensible defaults.

Nvm, it was just because I was using Windows Movies and Tv to open up the recording

Thanks on your behalf though for your response

However, I still will switch to using the x264 encoder
