Question / Help OBS stuttering problem

Hello, I'm experiencing a stuttering problem with OBS and I can't figure out why. I have messed around with several settings but to no avail.I'm hoping somebody can give me an idea of what I need to do to fix this.

The setup has an Elgato capturing video, two microphones for dual-commentary, a video capture for player cams, audio output to capture game sound, and several different text sources.

Computer specs:
Intel Core I-7 processor
8GB RAM
64bit operating system

Windows 10

I have no other programs running at the same time.

Thank you. I tried this last night and it seemed to help a little bit. The video hardly stuttered, but the sound was still stuttering quite a bit for some reason. That being said, I tested it again this morning and now it seems like its worse than ever.

I know my system is up to snuff, drivers are all updated, no other programs are running concurrently, etc. I just can't figure out why it would be doing this.

I figured out the issue! I was using DirectSound for my audio output which was apparantly causing it to stutter?? Anyway, I changed it to WaveFront and it's running perfectly now.

Strange.
