Question / Help OBS Studio Will not open w/ Fruity VSTI in audio filters

In attempting to make my mic sound better, I tried enabling the Fruity VSTi filter option in the Microphone filters area under VST Plugins (since I own FL Studio I have this). However, now OBS studio will not re open. I tried Updating my version the latest, which it did, but did not fix the problem. I know the last ditch thing to do is entirely uninstall and reinstall obs, and rebuild everything from scratch, but I'm hoping someone has something I haven't tried?

I see this is an old thread, but I'm going to answer anyway, as I recently had the same problem but found a solution to it myself.

Go to your OBS installation folder, then browse obs-plugins/64bit/ and move obs-vst.dll and obs-vst.pdb to another folder (I don't suggest deleting them). This will allow you to boot up the program again. I hope this helps.
