Hi,
I recently bought myself a capture card with the intention of stepping up my streaming.
I stream from my Xbox One using my capture card to my laptop.
I have an Elgato HD60 and using the Elgato game capture software I can stream at 720p60fps no problem at all.
However I would prefer to use OBS because I would like to have widgets and the like.
Now for some reason that I can not fathom when I go to setting on OBS and set the settings where I think they should be and start the stream. Instead of hitting 60fps it drops down to 40 and as a result the stream stutters like crazy.
Because I can stream using the Elgato software and hit my goal I assume it's not an internet issue or an issue with my laptop.
For the record my upload is 20mb and my laptop is an Acer VX15 with an i5 processor and an Nvidia GTX1050.
I hope I've included enough context.
Here is one of my log files where the target of 60fps was not met,and instead the fps was around 45-55.
