Question / Help OBS Studio not recording my audio, but OBS classic is...

As title suggests, I am having an issue getting OBS Studio to record the desktop audio input. It recognizes the noise with the display of the green volume bar, but when checking the recording there is no sounds from the audio input. When using other audio inputs like a mic, everything works fine. I have tested the issue in multiple players all don't have the sound. When testing the issue in OBS Classic, it does not seem to have the issue. Settings are identical for both, recording locally with mp4, and yet I can't get the audio on Studio.

Any suggestions to this issue I am having? If you need more information let em know. I want to use Studio instead of Classic.

Thanks!

There are several guides about virtual audio devices (with/without, etc) and tracks management:
https://obsproject.com/forum/resour...audio-sources-off-your-stream-or-recording.8/
https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/exclude-multiple-applications-audio-from-obs.524/
https://obsproject.com/forum/resour...nagement-for-1-and-2-pc-streaming-setups.397/
https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/easiest-way-to-exclude-voice-chat-no-third-part-programs.451/

If your track selected in main menu Edit>Advanced Audio Properties (Tracks section) and green bar moves according to current sound level then you are using wrong player to playback the recordings. Try VLC player and select right track during playback.

I checked on 3 different players including VLC, and I had this same issue before virtual audio cable was even installed on my computer.(This was said in my initial post...)

It is not a player issue and not a virtual audio cable issue.

The issue is when anything in the except "default" is selected for desktop audio. It shows a the green bar under mixer which means it is getting the audio feed, but it does not have sound in the recording. If it wasn't getting an audio feed, it would not have the green bar.

None of the links have to do with the issue at hand I am having.
