Question / Help OBS Studio Not Picking Up Desktop Audio

Hey,

I'm trying to set up a stream. I'm using Nightbot (off of the beta app) and its AutoDJ feature. I am told that all I have to do is have the window open and it will be picked up. However, when I tested the stream, it wasn't picking up the music.

A few extra, 'already checked' items:
Windows' default playback is set to my headset
OBS's desktop audio device is set to my headset
'Desktop Audio' in the mixer is set to my headset
I can hear the sound coming from Nightbot
I can't hear the sound coming from the stream (twitch)
I checked the sound from the stream on a different device (my phone)
I tried using Nightbot off of a web browser with the same effect

Note:
I have already been to the NightDev Forums and asked there. They couldn't figure it out. So I decided to come here and see if anyone here could figure it out.

Specs:
Windows 10, 64 bit
OBS Studio v0.15.2 (windows)
The most recent version of the Nightbot beta app (I don't know where to find what version)

One Last Note:
I don't know where to find the log file. So if you need it, can someone tell me where I can find it.

Hi I had the exact same problem, OBS have updated their software and it seems to have been fixed. Heres a link to the 17.0.2 patch https://github.com/jp9000/obs-studio/releases/tag/17.0.2
