OBS Studio no Longer Works with Zwift

Over the last 48 hours or so, I've been racking my brain to determine what small change has broken my setup.

I'm trying to run Zwift, Borderless Gaming and OBS Studio on my HP EliteBook. Up until a couple of days ago, everything seemed fine. Now, the best way I can describe it is to say that OBS Studio seems to be having trouble keeping up with Zwift. Instead of getting smooth video of the display being captured, OBS Studio lags behind, showing only intermittent snapshots instead.

In case I didn't say so already, just a few days ago all of this worked fine. Zwift is the only application with which I'm having this problem. Zwift is also the only application for which I need Borderless Gaming to get the most out of full-screen mode. When I try running Zwift in full-screen mode, it disappears when I click anywhere outside of the screen on which it's running. For example, if I try interacting with OBS Studio which is running on a different display, Zwift disappears. Borderless Gaming solves that problem.

Neither Rouvy nor MyWhoosh give me the same problem with OBS Studio that Zwift does. I have tried removing and reinstalling all of the major players, but nothing seems to be helping.

I appreciate everyone's patience. The fact that everyone refrained from yelling at me while waiting for me to figure it out for myself is greatly appreciated.

Eventually, I discovered that I had to switch from "Display Capture" to "Game Capture" and filter for a specific window.

Nope! I was wrong. The reason I was using display capture is because I have 2 applications running on the same screen. If I use game capture instead, I wwill capture only one of them. I'm fiddling around with it now, and seem to have gotten it working again using Display Cappture – although I'm not sure how.
