Question / Help OBS Studio makes elgato bad quality

I have recently got an Elgato HD Capture from a friend. The picture looks decently sharp when I look at it using the playback feature on the Elgato software. However when I put it into OBS the quality is terrible (blurry, not the slightest bit sharp) even though I have selected 1080p as an option on both the Elgato software and OBS, it is also out of proportion. Anyone know how to fix this? I apologise as this site won't let me upload my elgato screenshot for some reason.
