Question / Help OBS Studio, laggy recordings and unsynced audio

There are no frames dropped in your log, but your recording attempts are at 35 fps and 120 fps, you may be better off choosing a standard value like 30 or 60.

okay thank you, and as for the audio? I also forgot to mention that the video is really blurry

I'm not down scaling the video at all and the image is still blurry, also the audio is delayed by a couple of seconds in comparison to what is being shown by the recording. Again thank you for your time.

ah yes, I changed it because I watched a video in the time I was waiting for a response. Let me give an updated one. This is what I am working with, still laggy videos, blurry videos and unsynced audio. I have been trying alot since I posted that last time.

What are you using to play back these recordings? There do not appear to be any performance issues in this logfile.

11:15:27.244: cqp: 30

A CQP value this high will definitely generate low quality video. Suggested ratings are between 14 (very good) and 23 (pretty good).

Lower values are higher quality, larger files.

ah okay, I was using 15 and I had the same issue, I thought higher was better. What's the lowest I can go?

The suggested range is between 14 and 23.

Higher than 23 you will notice poorer quality.

Lower than 14 will dramatically increase system load without an apparent improvement in quality.

Alright, thank you. I can't test it now as I am spending the day helping my little sisters with their school work. But there is still the issue with the audio and video not being synced up. I am sorry I am a noob at this.
